A review adjacent to the legend that is Alan Winfield :-)
Front bar with hard seats and tables set up for dining.
A couple of high tables in a corridor leading to a back room that has more forgiving furniture.
Two real ales on - Doom Bar and Tribute. Tribute appeared looked after and I was pleased that as the 1st punter of the day, the beer was pulled through before serving.
Traditional pub that is functional but won't leave a lasting memory.

The Bulls Head is a decent looking white painted pub that is in the middle of Bideford on Avon.
Once inside this is a very basic pub,the bar faces, the room is a smallish and L shaped with hardly any seating, there was one small table and chairs to the front and a pew type seat to the rear left, there was a darts boardin a small area to the left, there was a small seperate room to the right which oblong shaped, this room had one settee and a couple of tables and chairs.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Doom Bar which was a decent drink, the other beer was Hobgoblin.
The pub does food which was very cheap,no tables laid out though.
It was quite surprising to find such a basic pub like this in this village.

Nicely situated in a quiet part of warwickshire, a very pleasant pub of old character. Popped in on a quiet Wednesday lunchtime- only four locals in. Although no conversation took part between ourselves, they seemed quite pleasant. Good service and a reasonable food menu. I had a pint of Adnams and my partner had a cup of coffee-£4.00, reasonably priced. The pub is situated opposite St. Leonards church, a quiet stroll around the graveyard was aesthetically pleasing. Would certainly pop back there if I was in the area again.
