Riverside bar( very close on my visit). "Craft keg" and food served. As slug and lettuce go this has a more characterful interior than most.

SLUG+LETTUCE: A great location for a pub/winebar, and on a sunny day a fantastic place to chill out +relax, with your favourite drink. However, you may find the drink prices a bit high (£7 for a plastic glass of Pimms, and thats 1/2 a pint, 2/3 of which is ice..!!) :o( It's certainly an interesting venue, especially when the river comes up for 'high tide', which is every couple of weeks or so. So the staff should be well practiced at handling the extreme water conditions...! But be aware, do NOT park your car nearby, cars have been flooded here many times!! And cyclists beware aswell, that water might be deeper than you think..! Notice that I haven't actually said much about the pub... that's because 'John Mc' has said it all in his review below. (And no-one has reviewed this pub since 2008...) Enjoy the river view. TJ
