The Shakespear was a smallish pub that was well away from the middle of Richmond,it was fairly close to a fire station and the closest train station was North Sheen.
I went in a smallish room at the front of the pub there may have been another room but i did'nt look, the room i had a drink in was fairly comfortable and had a few other drinkers in who were mainly locals.
This pub was a Youngs tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Youngs bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Youngs Special.
There wer'nt many other pubs nearby so i thought this was a decent stop off on the walk into Richmond.
