Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Princes Head
A well-located Fullers pub which retains a pleasingly traditional feel despite the inevitable refurbishments and layout alterations. A series of rooms has been partially opened out to leave various different seating areas around the central bar. There are also some patio benches at the front. Beer-wise, there are two banks of four handpumps offering Pride, ESB and the seasonal Prop Me Up (£3.30, half) on this first revisit for 15 years. Overall, the view across Richmond Green on a sunny day is reason enough to pause for a pint (especially if the beer selection at the nearby Cricketers is poor).

Get the feeling this may go the way of the Goathland Hotel..... read the tripadvisor reviews for what happens when TV and pubs combine.
This is the pub used in Ted Lasso. They have Richmond AFC scarves behind the bar and a sign on the front saying "Music is Life". A play on the catch phrase used from the show.
As a result, the bar on a Saturday afternoon was packed with people not necessarily ordering drinks but taking selfies, from multiple angles. I didnt mind, as I was a tourist myself, but I can imagine it would be annoying if it was your local.
Beautiful pub, with great views over Richmond Green. ESB was in fine form. I did try to eat here but even though the restaurant area was free of punters - a claim was made that all tables were booked from 2pm. More likely, they didnt want to have a solo rambler taking up one of the spaces.
Fortunately, the Cricketers was next door - which was a stunning find!

Fullers tied house,with good brown glazed exterior tiling but with an interior that has been modernised and lacks charm.The front section has dark wood flooring and a long bar ,any previous sub division into a public and saloon is long gone.There is a small restaurant to the rear right and you can walk around the interior to find a rear section before the high tables reappear down the side with windows over the alley.
It's opposite the Green and cricket pitch and has seating outside,but the long flex handing light bulbs over the bar and a dirge soundtrack of R&B crap lowers the tone inside.
Fullers London Pride,Hophead and ESB are the regulars,I had a Dark Star Galaxy Haze at £3.35 the half ! and didn't taste the 6.5% ABV (NBSS 2.5).
I much prefer the Sun not far away ,this pub is full of tourists on the Ted Lasso trail (only the exterior shots are of the pub,interior shots studio based) and has a very transient customer base.
