This is a large roadside pub on the main road just outside Richmond. It's a no frills fairly basic place with two main areas linked by open doorways. One side is carpeted and has numerous framed items with a culinary theme while the other larger L-shaped area has a scruffy black lacquered floor. Lots of Guinness ads in here and a dartboard encased over a tiled fireplace. Regular seating with banquettes and chairs.
Clearly a local's pub, full of old codgers watching the horse racing on the telly with the landlord leaving the bar to sit with a bunch of blokes.
They do food, pub grub stuff with mains between £7-£9 but nobody was and it doesn't strike me as somewhere you would choose to eat with all that Richmond has to offer.
Several handpumps around the large central bar but all clipped with either London Pride or Young's Bitter. The Young's was ok.
