Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Peacock Lodge

Large pub / restaurant on the A22, nowadays having an Indian menu. You enter the bar area which is of reasonable size (although, even there, many of the tables are laid up for those planning to eat), with the rather bigger main dining area beyond. All parts refurbished in a generic semi-modern style. More surprisingly though, cask ale is still offered, albeit just in the form of Doom Bar (£4.50) from a pair of handpumps.

Signage is for ''Peacock Lodge''. However it is currently closed with entrances blocked with heavy concrete panels. No indication as to whether this is a permanent or temporary closure.
