After being closed for some months the White Lyon and Dragon reopened in late October 2018. The well appointed bar is in the left hand part of this twentieth century road house. The rest of the building is a restaurant that will serve oriental food from 1st December.

I visted this pub today for a Sunday roast, When I arrived I as greeted by happy friendly staff. I decided to have the Beef which was beautifully cooked. The service was quick and friendly. The pub is under new management and they are make great use of the space as theres the locals bar with soft leather chairs, the "Divas bar" where the entertanment takes place which doubles up as a resturant and the cafe where you can order food durng the day. Attention has clearly been made to every detail for a great dining experience as theres even a piano player for your sunday roasts. Speaking to the staff in the Divas Bar they have evening entertainmnt from Thursday onwards, they have a piano bar night, karaoke night and a saturday Disco. The bar is welcoming to familys and theres a chldrens play area. As well as this it is an openly gay pub. I can see a great future for this pub and highly recommend it.
