The Prince Albert is a bit of a strange looking pub that is just along from the Stoke and Kings Head pubs.
Once inside there is an L shaped room which is carpeted,the bar is in the middle area,there is bench seating and chairs for seating and there is a pool table and darts board to the rear right.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths Smooth Crap,which lived up to its name.
There was loud decent background music playing and the pub was very busy with locals.
I quite like pubs like this despite the lack of a real ale as it is a proper pub with proper drinkers in.

A basic two room,opened out rough and ready locals boozer,the locals in question on my brief visit,were in general, 40 to 70 year old geezers who have been there, done it, possibly got the Tee shirt and still want to or think they can still do it, they were all well lubricated, I fitted in virtually unnoticed.
With four pumps on the bar only two beers available, Courage Best and Timothy Taylors Le Champion, which was adequately ok. Live Football is shown.
I think I get what Dave Stray is on about in the review below.
I will give this one a miss in the future, there are better pubs nearby.
