Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Jolly Farmer
Fuller's country dining pub on the edge of Whitmore Common so a handy stop for walkers too. The original building has been extended over the years, but the various seating and eating areas are all quite compact so the whole retains a semi-traditional feel. Good-sized beer garden on the left-hand side, partly underneath a vine-covered pergola, with a circular barbecue kitchen towards the back. London Pride and Hophead (£5.80) served from the bank of four handpumps.

A decent country pub, a Fullers pub with only there beers on, four pumps with Pride doubled up,H.S.B. and Olivers Island, the conditioning of which was excellent.Multi roomed/partitioned inside with a mixture of stone tiled and wood flooring, food plays a major part of this pubs set up as you would expect of a country pub nowadays and there is a purpose built barbecue kitchen/servery with a wood tiled roof in the middle of the extensive beer garden. All in all not a bad place.

I just love this lovely country pub. The food is not cheap, but by god it is good. Lovely atmosphere, perfect in both summer (great grounds for outdoor drinking and eating) and winter (lovely and cosy with an open fire to warm you). Highly recommended!
