The Duke of Sussex is located on the corner of a fairly busy road junction in the newton area of Hyde.
Once inside i went in a fairly large room with the bar facing,this room looked quite smart and it was also very comfortable,the pub had small Bass signs outside so i was not sure if this was a Bass tied house,there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Stones bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Bass XXXX mild.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl.
