On the High Street and the more ‘pubby’ of the two Fuller's outlets in town. A traditional interior where varnished wood panelling and trim remains king, with a sensible colour combo of white and racing green. Various knock-throughs have produced something resembling an M shaped interior. Left side is more for food, right more for drinking (there's a codgers drinking corner in the far right end with old gig posters from floor to ceiling). Three Fuller’s list cask; Pride, Hophead and HSB – the latter of which was a bit old, NBSS 2.5. Not much to separate the two Fuller’s outlets in Farnham but they both serve different markets and both are worth taking-in. If the cask quality had been better here I’d have crowned it the champ. 6.5

Old and busy town centre pub with two comfortable rooms, either side of the central bar. Beers from Fullers with a changing guest and very drinkable. Perfectly adequate.

Formerly a Gales pub until Fullers took over a good few years ago, back then it was a very basic boozer, not a bad thing at all, now it still maintains its traditional pub feel very well with a very original looking wooden floor and black oak beams against a white painted ceiling ,essentially a two bar pub divided by the central servery which services both sides, the doorways that used to separate the bars are now opened out so one can wander around from one side to the other unhindered, there is no distinction between the two areas as to public or saloon, there are some tables and chairs to the front of the pub which can be used for both eating and drinking, comfortable bar stools around the bar and some armchairs and sofas to the rear of the pub utilising some nooks and cranny's,some of the walls and ceiling are covered with old posters of bands who have played here, there is live music Sunday nights, and there was music playing in the background to a decent level, loud enough to hear but not so loud as to intrude upon any conversation you may be having. On the bar we find four handpumps and today they were dispensing Fullers London Pride and Summer Ale,Gales HSB along with a guest of Elgoods EP. A basic lineup from my point of view but decent enough. I found this pub very comfortable and could happily have stayed for longer, very much worthy of a return visit.
