Moby Duck left this review about Ball & Wicket
Situated on a steep hill the pub has three levels, the upper level is a small games area with a dartboard, table football and a quiz machine, the main pub level and then down to the restaurant area through a couple of doors which is actually the building next door. The main bar is wooden floorboarded, and dark stained oak beams on the ceiling ,it is very much a traditional pub,on the bar are six handpumps, disappointingly only two of these were clipped, the choices were Doombar and Dorking Brewery Red India Ale, the latter was in good form. The pub is home to a micro brewery, Farnham Brewery ,but none of their beers where in evidence on my visit. It was quiet on my vist early Saturday evening and seems to be very much a locals pub,it is on a fairly busy road but given its location I don't think it gets a lot of passing trade and wonder if it can support six pumps. Despite only two beers on I liked this pub and will stop off again.
