This place is heading down that path of restaurant with a bar, rather than pub, but is just about tolerable at the moment. The front part is not too bad, with bines of hops nailed to the ceiling and a cosy snug table tucked round the corner, but the back room is entirely laid up for posh dining. Just London Pride and Hophead on cask, condition ok.

The third Fullers pub in a row as you walk south out of the town and the least memorable ,this one has a large back area with a "wait to be seated sign" but it is still possible just to drink around the front part of the bar, which has a light wood facing. There are bench seats covered in brown leather ,a chequers pattern around the bar, with the wing to the left finishing with a small section housing a large table. The flooring throughout is light wood.
Just London Pride and Hophead (NBSS 3) which was becoming boring ,no real reason to revisit.

Fuller's pub just to the south of the town centre that seems to have changed its emphasis more to dining since the last review. A number of Christmas parties were concluding on my mid-afternoon visit, but there were also people there holding meetings and working from the pub.
The bar can be found directly in front of you as you enter. Seating areas can then be found both to the left and the right of the bar. Drinkers appear to sit nearer the front windows, with diners towards the rear. I later noticed a small podium next to the bar asking customers to wait to be seated. Luckily this wasn't enforced for me.
London Pride & Hophead are the real ales. A third handpull was unclipped. My Hophead was in a good condition.
