Dropped into this unashamed gastropub when passing yesterday. Apparently there are stunning countryside views from the terrace at the rear. It was very quiet, with a dimly lit interior, and the London Pride clip was reversed on the one ale pump. The woman I took to be the landlady explained that the barrel had only arrived that morning and needed to settle. This may be a good place to come and soak up the view in the summer, but it didn’t tick any of the boxes for what we wanted on a cold December afternoon, so we didn’t stay.
