A large and very contemporary pub in the centre of Woodbridge, it’s clearly had a considerable refurbishment fairly recently, and is now focused very much on food, with the bulk of the pub being given over to dining. The bar area runs along one side of the pub and this too is very contemporary with a pale slate floor and modern fittings. We were after a bite to eat, but only wanted some basic pub grub rather than anything fancy. Unfortunately they were unable to offer that with all of the main courses being in the £15 - £20 range, and so we went elsewhere.
Beers on tap were all from Adnams with their Mosaic Pale Ale, Southwold and Ghost Ship. The solitary cider was Aspall’s Suffolk.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown Hotel
Probably an ancient inn but very extensively refurbed in a modern style. Glass-roofed bar now housed in what must once have been an open passageway. Dining areas in various side rooms. Patio to rear. Hotel rooms in courtyard outbuildings. All very upmarket. Two banks of three handpumps, offering TT Landlord, Adnams Broadside and Southwold (£3.80).
