Old Boots left this review about The Seckforde Tap
Down a long gentle hill from the town centre, there is a public bar type bar at the front with a more dining/ lounge room behind and a smaller lounge with fireplace beyond that, at the rear is a “secret” garden. The bar, to the right through an archway on entering, has 8 handpumps with Greene King and smaller local brewery beers in good condition, there is a small group of the usual kegs with Staropramen and Aspalls cider in addition to the Guinness and Carlsberg. Bareboards, a settle, tables and stools, with a dartboard in one corner and a collection of beermats/pumpclips in the other make this a traditional pub set up. There are numerous ads on the walls for forthcoming events, happy hour, beer of the week etc. Takeaways can be consumed on the premises, menus from local pizza and curry emporiums are left on the tables, in spite of the food oriented back room.
