The Elephant and Castle is one of the oldest buildings in the village of Eyke, Suffolk. Originally built as a house in the mid 1600’s it was converted to a pub by a local merchant, John Fuller around 1707.
It still retains the original 2 bar set up and used to be an outlet for Adnams.
Has be closed and reopened in recent years as successive landlords try to make a go of it.
Now reported as closed and empty again and currently up for sale.
