Not so much a pub as a very pleasant restaurant which is a shame as there is nowhere as nice nearby to just have a drink. The garden is advertised for drinking but the day we visited it was not really very warm so we just had one drink and left to carry on into nearby Long Melford. I understand the place used to be a pub and it must be greatly missed as such.
