Slightly away from the main action on the road out of the village and situated next to the large car and coach park and public toilets and opposite the villages medieval church. It was the one most resembling a proper pub that I found in Lavenham. A Stoned floor and beamed bar area to the front and a larger lounge and dining area beyond. It also had a good array of outside seating to the front and an enclosed larger garden area to the back.
Three pumps on the bar but only Sharps Atlantic was on for my visit and another one where I got the feeling that the focus was on the food service during the summer months..

An impressive looking thatched pub, in a prime location as you enter from the top end of the village. I received a warm welcome from the manageress on my visit and was very chatty. I enjoyed the Woodfordes Nelson's Revenge which was superb and sampled the GK Londons Glory which was well kept.They also serve food.
