Real Ale Ray left this review about The Gladstone Arms
This pub opened under Real East Anglian Cask Houses Ltd on the 31.10.14 and has sold 2104 different types of beer up to our visit. This is a good sized pub with hundreds of pump clips adorning the ceilings and walls. The interior is basic and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The main bar area had a quarry tiled floor and the left hand side lounge was carpeted.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and enjoyed a good chat about beer, whilst handing over a few beer samples. Seven ales on handpump, along with 10 craft and 4 ciders. We went for the Burnt Mill Pintle, Shortts The Cure and a whiskey infused stout from the craft menu. Well worth the walk out of town.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Gladstone Arms
Well-presented Adnams pub located just across the Rattlesden River from Stowmarket town centre. Partly opened out to form a 'T' shape arrangement of bar area (plain wooden furniture, simple tiled floor and operational fireplace), lounge on other side of front entrance, wide corridor with extra seating and a rear pool room. Recently refurbished by the look of things. Beer garden on far side of little steam at back of car park. Three real ales on handpump: Southwold, Broadside and a very fine pint of Old (£3.25). Overall pretty good, apart from the landlord who chose to serve some regular customers first despite knowing full well that I had been standing there waiting before they arrived - minus one point for that.
