A large standalone building situated near the church in the centre of town. This multi roomed pub with a country style interior finished to a high standard. There was plenty of seating areas to choose from and the bar area was positioned towards the rear of the pub and had five handpumps. Four handpumps in use on our visit, serving Doombar, Darkstar Hophead, Wainwright and Birmingham Brewing Pale Brummie. We went for the Pale Brummie which was in excellent condition. Their fourth pump advertised St Austell Tribute "coming soon".
The pub also serves food at reasonable prices.
