Splendid pub accessed by water or down a lengthy track. The original pub building with its ancient interior is now set between two modern extensions, laid out for food, with outside tables in the large garden at the front leading down to the water and the remains of the long-disused lock. Beers mainly from local Grain brewery, with other guests, and food is home made and very good indeed. The sort of place you would like to be stranded at.

On our anual trip to the broads we came across the Locks inn this year,we have a 4 day break boating every year and every year we try to find new places to eat and when on the broads we like to sample good old british food, Well me and my son ordered the gammon egg and chips and my wife had a stiltom ploughmans, what arrived on the table was the thickest freshest ham you have ever seen in your life served with 2 fresh eggs and home made chips and my wifes ploughmans was to die for lots of fresh salad and yummy pickled onions, Now i must admit we are not in the habit of leaving reviews but on this occassion we felt we really had to, the service was 1st class and the food to die for and to top it off inside where we had our food there was no lights just lots of candles this made the place feel very special, WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEARS, CK Kent

I have been here about 5 times when i holiday on the Norfolk broads. In my opinion the Locks is one of the best pubs on the entire broads network. There are always good beers on and the food is fantastic. Moorings are limited but you can mostly always get in you must visit here you wont be dissappointed..!
