This pub has its own web site and this was the reason we visited as the pictures looked charming and traditional however when we got there we had to walk through a group of smokers to get into the pub. The bar certainly did not look like the web photos and was really quite messy with quite a lot of children playing on the floor. We were taken into the dining area which seems a lot smaller than the pictures show. The menu is very comprehensive but some items were extremely expensive more like high quality restaurant prices and the food is supposed to be fresh but if I am not mistaken "Partridge" is not in season at the moment but it was on the menu? Very disapointed, especially with the dirty feet of the woman who served our table.

Had a meal earlier this week and was very disappointed as the landlord was extremeley drunk and dressed in shooting gear. His wife and he were shouting at the fact he was too drunk to cook so she would have to do it. This continued for some time, eventually we were served food that was over cooked (even the chips were burnt) When we complained the landlady shouted at us and told us if we were unhappy then we should go.
It is safe to say we will never go back while they own this establishment
