It says outside this pub that it is 16th century and it still has the old Ansells signs,i would agree it seemed oldish inside.
There were a lot of people dining here but normal drinkers were also made welcome,there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Pedigree which was very nice there was also Bass and St Austell Tribute on.
I think this pub caters mainly for people driving and dining but the pub still has a pubby feeling to it and i was quite happy having a drink here.
