Attractive roadside pub. Only one ale on - Robinsons Unicorn which was fine. The landlady explained that they don't have as many ales on due to the Horse & Jockey having a choice of 10! A couple of friendly locals in, not a bad pub.

Well described by Soupy, below, this 16th Century coaching inn is very inviting as you pass by, with its cobbles leading to the carpark, small garden and Tudor red-brick charm. The atmosphere inside is a comfortable conviviality, the staff being less-then-hostile, while the locals are a decent bunch. The gaming machines were unobtrusive, the Wifi worked, the banter was civilised. Ales on were Doombar, Old Golden Hen, Outlander, Golden Glow and Bombardier. A pretty decent pub, somewhere to enjoy a few beers and a definite place to visit when in the town.
