A Marston's Local pub which seems to be under the misapprehension that it is a restaurant judging from the opening hours sign. However it fails to really be either. A good traditional bar opens through to a more modern dining extension beyond, but doesn't really have much character. Draught beers on offer were Marston's Pedigree and Sunbeam, the latter being very drinkable, so nothing to be ashamed of. The unused state of the vast car park speaks volumes.

this newly referbished pub is run to perfection. friendly staff a brilliant management team and great service with great food and real marstons ale combine to make it a great place to go. we will be back. matt wilson, cheshire
