This is a largish pub that is set back from the road and well away from the middle of Congleton.
This is a Marstons house that looks like it has been extended over the years,the main drinking area is to the left as you go inthis is a decent area to have a drink in,it looked like there was a dining area to the right but i did'nt have a proper look.
There were three real ales on i had a drink of Banks's bitter which was a decent drink there was also Pedigree on i car'nt remember the third one.
This is a decent pub to have a few drinks in.
