Nice looking pub which is a fair stroll out of town. Sadly no ales on at all so I enjoyed a bottle of Newcastle and a game of pool. I wouldn't go out of my way to walk all the way here but with the Feathers and the George en route it is worth popping in.

Clean traditional local a fair walk from the City centre, which on my Saturday lunchtime visit had 3 handpumps on the go.There was already a fair crowd in with the sole barmaid under a bit of pressure coping with the food orders.

Free standing brick and half-timbered building, with a beer garden and fantastic Lichfield Brewery windows
The interior is open plan, an 'L' shape around the bar, leading to a conservatory where food and Sunday Dinners are served. There are a couple of TVs, one had the FA Cup footy on, the other, the news and there was a little area for darts. There was a few cartoons, prints and plates on the walls. The decor, cream with red painted wood panel and trim looked a little tired in a few places. The service was fine, the clientele small and mainly watching the footy.
Usual beer, with three handpulls; Marstons Pedigree, Wells Bombardier and Banks's MILD, which was fine.
On my last visit i found this a "wouldnt go out of my to go, but with Feathers and George & Dragon on same road, would visit again" - this last visit was better and be happy to return.
