Decent enough pub which was quite busy with locals when I called. A couple of beers on - Pedigree and Adnams Ghost Ship. I went for the Ghost Ship and it was fine. Well worth a visit.

Update: still much the same, but now has two real ales - these were Doom Bar and Wainwright at my visit. I do love the friendliness of this place.

Aug 2009: Obviously fake black beam and white façade stuck onto a terraced brick building – which looks a bit tacky in most places except Cannock. The interior is open plan, with wood floor. The décor is a mix of beams, with white and olive walls, and a few with wallpaper on. Picures and other memorabilia are dotted about. There are two TVs on the Sky music channels when I visited and half arm-chairs and high stools were amongst the array of seating. It was friendly enough and the clientele more mature. It was quite busy too, for an midweek evening. Beer; usual top tosh really, with Pedigree on handpull, but no MILD. The Peddy was cheap and tasted like it, though not poor.
