Strongers . left this review about The Plough Inn
Said to date from 1834, The Plough Inn has a small seating area to the left of the entrance and to the right are some standard tables and a dartboard before some banquette snugs towards the rear. The counter is found at the very rear of the pub where it faces seating and a piano to the left. Low ceiling beams run through and fireplaces are found throughout, as are televisions that were airing muted news. The background music was courtesy of a radio station with adverts, which I hate. Standard and premium keg were available alongside five hand pumps, but only Hobgoblin Gold was available because two were unused and two were off. I didn’t really settle in here and wouldn’t bother popping back in if passing.
