I went in the small public bar to the right on entering here - I could have gone into the totally empty and rather larger lounge to the left, but the public bar was where the action was. It was very lively on an early Saturday evening, with locals and their children enjoying a family time together. There were two hand pumps on the bar, with Marstons Pedigree and Ringwood Old Thumper available. A quick look in the other room showed the same beers on there too. Bob Dylan jostled for space on the juke box with Led Zeppelin, and a splendid time was being had by all.
