The White Lion was a decent stone built pub that was situated quite close the Rotherhams old Masbrough station which is now closed.
Once inside the pub had a smart and comfortable lounge and a decent bar,we had a drink in the lounge.
The pub was a Wards tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Wards bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Darleys Dark Mild.
Sadly this pub has now cloaed down, but the Wards signs are still prominent on the side of the pub.
