Alan Winfield left this review about The Station Hotel
The Station Hotel is a large old looking pub that is a short walk from the shops and pubs on broad street.
Once inside there was a large single square shaped room, the bar was on the right side, there was some comfy bench seating to the front right, there was a small raised area to the front left which was set up for diners (none in on my visit),there is a pool table to the rear left, the room is carpeted throughout and looked quite smart.
There is a conservatory to the far left which had normal tables and chairs.
No real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which it was.
The pub does meals and special offers on them, plus free pool,it was a shame that the pub was almost empty om my Saturday afternoon visit.
