Alan Winfield left this review about The Red Lion
The Red Lion is a large pub that is situated on Waths small pedestrianized high street.
Once inside there was a large oblong shaped room, the bar was on the left side, there was a manky looking stone floor near the bar,the right side was carpeted and had leather bucket chairs, there was a pool table to the far right.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which was a very poor drink, the other beer was GK IPA smooth.
The background music was blasting out at a deafening volume.
This pub caters for younger drinkers in the evening, all in all a very poor pub.
