Alan Winfield left this review about Pewter Pot
The Pewter Pot is a typical looking 60s/70s built estate pub.
Once inside there is a large opened out room which was split into two halfs, the right side had a stone floor and comfy bench seating, there was a pool table in a small area to the rear right, the left side was more bar like with a pool table to the front, there were two TVs showing sky sports football score updates.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which was crap, the other beer was Boddingtons smooth cold crap.
The pub was very busy on my mid Saturday afternoon visit which is nice to see.
I quite like visiting pubs like this one, just a shame about the lack of a real ale or decent keg bitter.
