A two-room estate pub in fairly modern brick with a car park containing a few benches and a smokers shelter but no greenery to justify use of the term beer garden. A notice inside the door announced a month's closure for refurbishment, though it looked in good condition to me. The public bar is to the right, lounge to the left, with two hand pumps on each bar but no real ales. I had a half of Guinness, which was priced at £4.50 a pint; or perhaps there's a premium on the price of a half? I could go back and ask, and check out the refurb while I'm about it. Maybe not.
