Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Golden Ball
Attractive village pub, partly opened out to form a 'L'-shaped bar with dining areas at each end. Refurbished in an upmarket semi-modern style. Small front terrace. As a Vintage Inn outlet, very much food led but a fair choice of real ale from five handpumps: Black Sheep, Hobgoblin, Leeds pale, Brewhouse Ginger Snap and Daleside Old Leg Over (£3.40). Very busy on a Friday evening, to the extent that there was barely room to stand at the bar let alone sit down.
