The Dog Daisy looks like a fairly modern estate pub that looked well looked after from the outside.
Once inside the pub had two seperate rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was to the right, this was a fairly large room that looked quite smart,it had a part carpeted and tiled floor with comfy bench seating in two large bays facing the bar, there was a pool table and dart board to the right, the walls were bare brick and there was a false beamed ceiling.
The lounge to the left was larger and looked quite smart,it was carpeted and had bench seating and normal tables and chairs.
There were no real ales on the bar but there were three keg bitters,i had a drink of Worthington cream which was drinkable and quite cheap, the other beers were John Smiths smooth crap and Tetley extra cold.
The bar was quite busy with older locals and seemed to have a decent atmosphere.
I quite liked this pub and would have no problems having a few drinks here.

A nice smiley welcome awaits all. A nice cosy family pub with plenty of community spirit.
There is always something on offer: Sky sports, panel games, racing trips, poker evenings and there is always something for the children around Easter, Halloween and Christmas where there is usually buffet, games, competitions and lots of fun.
Bar meals are available until 7pm and Sunday lunches are available too.
Never a dull moment. Overall a very friendly atmosphere and pleasurable experience.
