Alan Winfield left this review about The Bulls Head
The Bulls Head is situated on Mexboroughs pedestrianised high street.
Once inside there were two small rooms either side of the entrance, the small bar to the left was empty, this room had a pool table in it with some tables and chairs, the room to the right was quite busy with some very colourfull locals, this room had bench seating around the edge of the room with small stools, there was a larger room to the rear which had normal tables and chairs, this room was carpeted as was the room to the right.
There were no real ales on the bar,the keg option was John Smiths Extra cold crap which was cold.
There was some decent 70s music playing.
I had a good chat with the locals and friendly landlady and i was even offered a pint from one of the locals which i declined.
This is a basic pub that would not suit some drinkers, having said that i was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
The pub also opens early on a Saturday morning.
