The Ship is a decent looking pub that is situated just off the High street.
Once inside the pub still has two separate rooms,we had a drink in the room to the left which looked quite smart and was also very comfortable,it is oblong shaped, the seating was bench seating and chairs, there was a TV on showing BBC news and food was being served, the room to the right looked just as nice and was carpeted and had comfy bench seating.
The pub is a Marstons tied house, there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ringwood Razor Back, which went down very well, the other reals were Pedigree and Thwaites Wainwright.
I thought this was a very pleasant and comfortable pub to have a drink in.

An edge of town pub with two distinct rooms, each with four hand pumps. A blackboard listed a vast food menu, but beers were limited to the Marstons stable: Banks's Sunbeam, Ringwood Boondoggle and Old Thumper, and Wychwood Hobgoblin. I had the Boondoggle, which was in good condition. Unfortunately there was quite a strong fishy smell apparent on entering, and this didn't dissipate much while I was there - strong food flavours and beer don't mix very well in my experience.
