I was on Google Earth yesterday and found a photo of the Bush. It is now all boarded up. I contacted my mate who lives near Barnsley and he confirms the photographic evidence is true. What a shame.

I was the landlord at the Bush Inn from May 1976 to January 1985. It was the prolonged miners strike which forced me out of business. I now live in Cheshire (near Knutsford) and I am having a place built in Spain. I would enjoy talking to anyone who remembers me.
