Proper local's pub with three distinct areas plus a small dining area. Food is served some Thursday evenings when either a 'steak / Chinese or Indian ' night is held and at Sunday carvery at lunch times. There is no real ale but the Guinness is excellent and Speckled Hen on keg is a regular. Regular live music. Dog friendly. Nice courtyard with an outside smokers' nest.
Log burner in the large room is great on cold nights.
