This pub does a fantastic variety of cheaper yet still very good value for money meals in their lovely dining room. Their meals are good, I had the equivillent of the mixed grill with chips and beans and this cost £6. The best real ale pint is Timothy Taylor Landlord and is the best pint for many a mile. There is a beer garden and the pub is situated in the heart of the old village next to a row of very old cottages. No 74 could do with a new lick of paint but the owner, a nice young lad, will get that done soon!
