We enjoyed my Fathers 60th Birthday party at this mavellous establishment. The food was fantastic. We had a three course meal and the food was excellant. I had the Devil Mushrooms for starters, Steak Pie with new potatoes and veggies for main and Chocolate icecream for afters. My wife had Prawn cocktail for starters, Lamb Henrie with potatoes and veggies for main and fresh strawberries for afters. I can not offer any critism at all. My eyes were bigger than my belly and I struggled to finish all. There is also a good range of Theaksons real ales including the best pint of mild I have had for a long time. I would recommend this fine pub to anyone and suggest booking in for food as it has always been busy when we have gone there.
