Historic old building but the interior has been comprehensively refurbished in a bright modern lounge style, which is comfortable if a bit lacking in character. Beers in very good condition with some good local ales on. Food only Friday to Sunday and does not open weekday lunchtimes.

Large pub with accomadation , downstairs is one large room with another room upstairs , its all very well maintained but does have a slight 1970s feel , usual keg taps and a couple of ales , TT Landlord is the regular along with a couple of Local ales .
Its very food led and has a good reputation , servie is friendly and locals decent enough .
