A nice rural pub by the former Louth Navigation, tastefully modernised and attracting a steady food trade. The front bar has a drinking area and a lounge part to the side with a dartboard and fireplace, while the plain but tidy back room is set out for dining. There are a few outside benches front and back and a proper garden hidden round the back in the car park. Handpumped ales were Roosters Union Gap and St Austell Trelawney, plus a cider.
