I was surprised how busy this place was on a Tuesday afternoon. Although there did appear to be a fairly large group occupying tables near the windows. The solitary barmaid was certainly being kept busy.
I too tried the Willy's Original, brewed on the premises. It wasn't too bad at all. Guest beers were Wily Fox Karma Citra & Fat Cat Tom Cat. The Tom Cat was in good condition too. In addition, they had a couple of ciders - Broadoak Moonshine & Pulp Apple.
The interior has a fairly clinical feel to it with not much character but atmosphere was being created by the number of people in.

A slightly scruffy seafront establishment noteworthy for its long-standing home brew, although frankly I was not that impressed with it on this visit. There were a couple of guests too, including a Cornish ale. A good atmosphere but not somewhere you visit for its surroundings.

GBG listed Brewpub on the seafront. A Brewer’s Tudor exterior gives way to a pretty basic interior where Stevie Wonder was in charge of the refurb, hideous colour clashes. Packed-out to the extent that I couldn’t get a seat so had to nonchalantly lean against the wall like the gooseberry at the school disco circa 1990. Only one of theirs on alongside two guests and some ciders. I obviously plumped for the homebrew which was in great shape (NBSS 4) and cheap too, so worth the GBG slot. It’s a place to knock a pint back and move on. 65
