Recognisable by a large Tetley's sign on the frontage, this is a nice and traditional pub with 3 rooms. We sat in the one to the front right, which I assume is the bar. There was another room to the left and one to the rear, accessible via a corridor from the right-hand room.
There are 4 regular beers here - Timothy Taylor Landlord, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde, Tetley's Cask & Oakham Citra. A Titanic Plum Porter seemed to be turned round. Although that may have been for the benefit of customers in the bar. A guest beer was Morland Marmalade Breeze, which despite being near the end of the barrel, was half decent. There was no sign of any real cider.
A nice, traditional boozer with a good range of cask ales. A discount is offered for CAMRA members.

An excellent boozer with two rooms and a nice range of ales. Two rooms straight out of the past, with brass bar fittings and PVC seating, where you could have been 40 years ago apart from the flat screen TV. Beers noted included Titanic Plum Porter, Tetleys Cask, Wainwright and Ossett Yorkshire Blonde. By far the most traditional of Cleethorpes's pubs.

On the CAMRA Heritage list and it’s a nice two-roomer with the original porch. In the right-hand lounge is some attractively carved wood and feature fireplace; also a rear snug though some pillock has glooped grey on the walls. Left side is the public bar though the only clear difference between that and the lounge is that there's lino on the floor here. Beware that there’s different cask beers in both bars! Without knowing this I missed-out on Osset, Plum Porter (shifting) and Tetley. The beer I did have, Oakham Citra, was fine (NBSS 3). A CAMRA favourite 7-10 years ago judging from all the awards from that time but seemingly fallen out of favour to the extent that it doesn’t appear in the 2024 GBG. I enjoyed it here and would recommend it to others. 7.5
