This is a pub just by the bridge in Bridge Street. After you enter there are some stairs ahead of you which I suspect may lead to a restaurant area and a door on the left leads to the bar. This has a small carpeted area with low tables and chairs leading to the more open bar area with a red tiled floor.
There are five hand pumps which had the rather mainstream choice of Greene King IPA & Old Speckled Hen, Sharp's Doom Bore & Sea Fury and Castle Rock Elsie Mo. I went for the Sea Fury (£3.60) which was only marginally less boring than you know what and struck me as being expensive for these parts.
It's a nice enough place and is GBG 2017 listed but I didn't see it as anything special.
