The Cross Foxes has a central U shaped serving counter that supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti and Cruzcampo. There are also two hand pumps, one of which was in use drawing Wadworth’s 6X. The majority of the locals present during a recent Monday evening visit were sat on a horseshoe shaped banquette area under the front windows opposite the counter. Banquettes run up the left past a fireplace to the ladies toilets. To the right is a separate room with two pool tables and two dartboards and at the rear is another room with a covered bagatelle table, some more seating and some sandwiches on trays, maybe Monday is a league night. Televisions throughout were airing muted football via Sky Sports while the jukebox delivered some music. Pub sports, friendly banter and polite service…this is my sort of place and I’d be a local if I was from the area.

A nice pub to have a drink in. No real ale but if you're not too narrow minded its ok for a drink.

A familiar kind of pub for Chester, end terrace, half brick and half black and white timber.
Not much of a report, as we walked past and saw that it was seemingly a keg pub, with no visable MILD, or handpull beer, so walked on by
